man pages are really well-written, for you it may be helpful to consider
reading man page called "afterboot (8)" (man 8 afterboot). I would
re-read FAQ's for OpenBSD and pf at official site, too :)
for good third-party howtos take a look at "OpenBSD 101":
http://www.openbsd101.com/
the book "Absolute OpenBSD" is, IMHO, ideal for beginner.
