imap server - which one?

I use courier, but I've heard from others that dovecot is a breeze to
set up, especially if you just use passwd files and aren't using any
sort of DB (like LDAP, MySQL etc...).

I may have already switched to dovecot if not for the fact that our
in-house mail-manager system relies heavily on courier mailfilters,
and LDAP.
