The Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG is listed as supported hardware for the i386
architecture, using the iwi driver.

This will depend upon your hardware.  OpenBSD, today, uses APM for power
management.  A database of i386 laptops and their capabilities with OpenBSD

Good choice; I recommend that book often.  Do take the time to go through 
the errata at the www.absoluteopenbsd.com website, there are a lot of typos.
