building stable binaries

Well, did you check your clock? ;-)

You are more than a year behind. Or at least your system is.

First set the system time with date, then configure ntpd to run at boot.
This will keep your clock in sync.

I think you might want to refetch the stable src (start with unpacking
src.tar.gz to reduce bandwidth usage on your favorite mirror).

Please post which version of OpenBSD and what platform you are using.
Better yet, include a dmesg.
