terminus font in console

Hello!
I was just wondering if it's possible to use terminus font in console.
I downloaded full terminus source code and compiled it with raw font
support:

$ make raw
# make install.raw

# wsfontload -N terminus /usr/share/misc//pcvtfonts/ter-cb.816
# wsconscfg -dF 3
# wsconscfg 3

but nothing happens! screen #3 is blank. And maybe after 1 min or so Login
prompt
with default font comes up.  I also tried different resolution (80x50) with
smaller
814 font. The result was the same.
