I've found other complaints, not very helpfull, most
of them for FreeBSD. Some even mention kernel panics
on this Dell+Broadcom hardware.

So simply diffing the Free* and Open* drivers won't
help much...

Therefore my next step is to figure out the diffs
between bge and the linux t3 driver.

Quite a challenge, for a newbie, I guess...
