courier imap pop3 directory problem?

Yeah, they're relevant. I'm not sure how you did it before because
I've had to do these things since I started using courier from ports
on 3.6 (i'd recommend installing from ports because there are tools
that get compiled but not installed but you can still run from the
tree -- ie. authtest, which would be real handy about now).
I'd recommend running out to the bookstore and picking up a copy of
'the book of postfix'.
It's got a killer section on configuring courier. The book itself is
a little out of date, but so are the courier packages (last I
checked).
I wish I could help more, but my last courier server was
decommissioned recently and I can't look.
