As far as I know, you just slap the appropriate info into ppp.conf.
(hint: see the manpage for pppoe, and copy the example.)

I personally[1] use Sonic.net, they are DSL in the SF Bay Area (based in
Santa Rosa) with no PPPoE breakage.  Also, super fast and beyond
excellent.


[1] On my home DSL line, I host the @sfobug.org email addresses and
mailing lists; the sfobug web site, and all of our other stuff.
